WHEW!!!

The next day good news report from Jim in Cabo is:

"Everything is OK here. Very little, if any, damage here in Cabo and San Jose."

Considering the initial predictions of a Catagory 4 almost direct hit, this news is wonderful for our friends and families in Los Cabos. Hopefully, the rest of the Baja will fare as well.

And this from Jim in Cabo

"Hey you guys, what's new? All is well here and the news is not quite accurate!!! As usual.
It is raining a bit, not much, but very little wind. It looks like it is passing us up again."

Great news, again..... Jim has seen a bunch of hurricanes during two decades in Cabo, and so have I, but this time a "near miss" Catagory 4 is about as close as we want to see.

Pray for those up North in the Baja.

Good news from San Jose del Cabo

Excellent report from La Jolla in San Jose that the storm has passed with a healthy rainfall and no obvious damage in the immediate area. The storm's westward veer has apparently saved San Jose from experiencing what might have been a serious storm.
Whew!

Please tell us what you know and see

Dear Friends,
Please tell us what you are experiencing regarding the situation. Emergency efforts needing support? Injury or loss of life? Marina damage in Cabo San Lucas or San Jose? Bridges and/or buildings damaged? Road conditions? Electricity, water, telephone/internet down, and if so, where? General information that will be helpful to friends and loved ones who are wondering.
Thanks, and let others know how they can help.
Jay

From weatherunderground.com about 4PM PDT today. Hear it is raining like crazy and the surf is amazing. Friends left the communal area set up at the Westin to experience the hurricane at their condo at Terrasol! I'm praying for them to be safe!
